Print Finishing

Jack Rabbit Imaging offers a wide range of finishing options for our printed products, materials and substrates, from lamination to block mounting to eyelets. Whether it be a large format or flatbed digital print, there are a number of finishing options available. We are also able to install at your premises.

Lamination

Upon request we can laminate your prints. In most cases, we highly recommend laminating your digital prints for longevity and image quality. We have a wide range of over laminates for vehicles, anti-graffiti purposes and for UV protection, as well as standard gloss, matte and sandex finishes. Jack Rabbit also offers liquid lamination for direct prints when a clear film cannot be used.

We highly recommend lamination of prints, especially for outdoor use. It will ensure the quality and longevity of your product when being exposed the weather elements. It also protects your prints during travel - making them more rigid, as well as being able to wipe them down if a spill occurs. Not only can lamination protect your prints, but it can also enhance the image or effect you desire. For example, a matte laminate can decrease glare from the sun, making your print more legible, or a sandtex lamination can give your print more substance and depth with a textured feel.

Block Mounting

Jack Rabbit offers a full block mounting service. We are able to block mount your images onto a wooden, smooth aluminium and foam PVC substrates. Block mounting adds depths and stability to your image or print. We are able to block mount your image onto .6mm for a flush finish, or up to 10mm for a dimensional finish.

Stretched Canvas and Framing

Jack Rabbit is able to stretch canvas over a lightweight pine frame in varied thicknesses and sizes to suit your requirements. For something more rigid we can also stretch your canvas over a heavier pine or western red cedar. We utilise quality stretching tools and methods, to ensure a tight and presentable finish. We are also able to liquid laminate your stretched canvas to ensure longevity, and to bring our colour in the image.

Installation and Fixings

Jack Rabbit is able to install printed images on site at your workplace. We can install wallpaper, self adhesive vinyl, stretched canvas and block mounted images direct and securely to your wall.
